November Challenges

This morning was actually nice. With Daylight savings on Sunday I thought for sure it would take the twins a little time to adjust. Luckily, and oddly enough they actually have been sleeping IN!! This morning they didn’t wake up till 8! I better knock on wood and hope that it continues!

I made a quick breakfast before heading out to the gym.

I make a different one almost everyday..

  • 3 egg whites
  • 2 T coconut flour
  • 1/2 tsp. Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • Handful of raspberries

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together until well blended, folding in raspberries at the end.
  2. Bake in microwave for 3 minutes!
  3. Eat from the bowl or dump it on a plate.
  4. Top it off with agave, maple syrup or fruit.
  5. Done and done.

Workout:

Thrusters. Amazing yes but I kinda, sorta hate them. I admit, working out legs and or my backside is not my number one pick.. Mainly because I’m sore forever!!  When I have sore legs it seems to effect my workouts for the remainder of the week. Although, I realize the importance of strengthening them through squats, thrusters, lunges etc. I just need to learn to embrace the suck I suppose!

After completing this workout ---> I post my weights used to the comments.

BIG NEWS!! I have decided to start a

NOVEMBER CHALLENGE!

I agreed to take on the KB challenge put up by Courtney @ petite-athleat and figure I would throw it out to all of you as well!

200 KB swings for everyday in November.. and knowing it’s the 8th today you get the last 7 days off.. But START now!!

source

My 200 KB swings for the day are done! Woo Hoo.. and I can already tell this is NOT going to be an easy challenge.. But then again.. if it was easy it wouldn’t really be a challenge would it?

If you want to even get a little crazier there is another challenge up.

365 days of burpees

Yes. Burpees. The one exercise loved by some.. hated by most. But possible for everyone!

You are to complete 20 burpees every day for 365 days. On each Monday the 20 burpees are timed! Keep track of your time and see how fast you improve each week!

I completed both challenges today and feeling strong!

For all the details and rules of BOTH challenges Click here!

Q. Are you ready for the challenge?

You don’t have to take on both just pick one and go for it!

Q. What is your least favorite body part to workout?

  3. Hi, I'm not sure how I found your blog but I hop over here every now and then, I'm in on those challenges! Sounds fun, I don't like burpees, but 20 is doable, and I like swings. I don't care for chest lately... My least favorite exercise right now is pushups. I'm going to try that recipe :)
