Last night I walked back onto the same field I danced on 4 years ago!
Talk about Déjà vu!!
It was fun to be out there performing again! With only having two practices in which we had to learn and clean the dance, I think we did pretty dang good. I even got to race a trike down the field..
There were only 10 alumni girls that were able to perform last night. Most of them danced through the same seasons as I did. I loved being part of the arena again and the best part of it was, looking up and seeing my husband, family and friends cheering me on. I have missed those pre performance stomach flutters before running onto the field! But being with these girls and just doing our thing was an amazing feeling.

Flashback story: My
boyfriend husband served an LDS mission while I was dancing for the Blaze and he was scheduled to fly home on the same day as my very last game. He had tickets to come watch but due to flight delays he didn’t get home until the next day! He never got to see me dance….. until last night!!

I came home late and Brent and I chatted for awhile before hitting the sack. Actually, I stayed up to watch the last episode of Greys Anatomy… (GA addict..)
This morning I woke up and headed straight to Body Pump and then wrapped up the last and final workout of Hellth week! It was a fun 5k, the weather outside was a bit chilly but once I got going it was perfect!
It feels good to wrap that up and put it in the past!
This week was rough and I’m glad I made it through! Next week will be a little more relaxed on my end and then heading down to Moab to run RED ROCK with 6 of my BFF’s.
I came home and made a Berry Protein Shake with a spinach swirl!

Weird, right? Still couldn’t taste the spinach and I got a servings of greens in for the day. Score!
In the mix
- 1 C. Vanilla Silk Almond Milk (unsweetend)
- 1 scoop of vanilla dymnatize whey isolate protein
- 1/2 C. Mixed frozen organic berries (From costo)
- 1/2 banana
- Handful of ice
- Handful of spinach
- Pinch of xanthan gum.
The rest of the day will be spent at the baseball field cheering on my little bros!
