Chocolate oatmeal raisin cookies

Hey everyone! Sorry I have been MIA lately. In my last post I mentioned that B was feeling a little under the weather.. Well, the next day.. T did the same thing then it hit me.. It was 2 against one. There is no escaping it. It’s a crazy sickness though which includes fever, bloating, nausea.

Okay, neither of the babes ever had a fever but I sure did and now Brent does to. Being sick really does blow.

I slept for 16 hours yesterday big thank you to my step-mom and little bro for coming over to take care of T & B. Today I’m feeling a little better, no fever but still achy and bloaty. So not much eating around these parts lately..nothing but smoothies

and coconut water…

This morning, I wasn’t feeling 100% Sad smilebut not “can’t go to work” sick. So, I went and taught pump and ran 3 miles with high hopes to shake it off. Sometimes it helps to “sweat it out.” But I could tell right away that this sickness had the best of me. I felt weaker during pump and had to stop and walk several times on the run because my belly just wasn’t cooperating. I came home showered did what any girl does when you don’t feel good.

I made cookies..

the first “solid” food in 24 hrs.

and they were good.

Hopefully, we kick this sickness and start feeling better soon! Maybe since we got it over with at the beginning of the season we will be immune to the rest of them for the year. Smile
