A mom's life..

Ok, so we got home from our vacation last night and it took me ALL day to catch up on cleaning the house and unpacking!! I hate unpacking from vacation.. its in my top 10 of things I dislike to do.. (unfortunetly, its the same for my husband) especially for a family of FOUR now.. But, I did it.. 6 loads of laundry, gave the pup a bath and cleaning and organizing everything back into its original spot. While feeding, changing, burping and entertaining T & B. They loved it and just hung out. Brent got home from work early so I hit the gym to get my workout in..

{WORKOUT}
I was SO exhausted from my day of cleaning, I hardly had motivation to do my workout I planned on.. So I decided to switch things up and go to BODY STEP. Which was exactly what I needed to get me going, after class (which kicked my booty) I wanted to do a few lifts
R & L incline abs: with 25lb faceplate 15 reps 3 sets. Alternating each side.
kettleball swings: 3 sets of 20
deadlifts: 3 sets of 15 with 75lbs (my bum is going to be feeling this tomorrow..especially after a step class!)
ABS: crutches with the medicine ball, as many reps as possible (amrap)
obliques with cable pull, 20 reps 3 sets, 45 lbs.
Now I'm home to spend a little time with my husband.. Well, as soon as he gets home from the gym!
(We take turns going, so one of us is home with the babies)
Thank goodness for an understanding husband to let me get a little me time!!

Baby Legs!

I love these baby legs! They are adorable & affordable. And with the fall weather coming they are just perfect for a little extra layer of warmth! I got both of them for $7!! But I had a code. and now I can't remember or find it.. sorry! But they are $10 for newborn size and they do have free shipping right now..and.. if you use the code "bounceback10" you will get 40 % off!! so if you like them.. I think you'll love them.. Some people think boys can't pull them off.. but I think T looks dang cute in them! Babylegs.com.

..Labor day..

I spent my weekend here.. with my family and friends! We had a great time filled with lots of games, delicious food, beautiful hikes and a little rest and relaxation! after all.. every mom deserves that right!? I didn't document much of my food.. sorry, but I still did eat healthy, for lunch one day we made these scrumptious tuna toppers.
1 whole wheat english muffin
tomato
avacado
Low sodium tuna in water (I like white chunk)
mixed with just a little light mayo.

Another lunch..

Chicken Asian Salad
Romaine lettuce
celery
mandrin oranges
green onions
little won ton noodles
Grilled chicken
Tomato
dressing was Ken's light asian viniagrette
For dinner, my dad made all of us, delicious hamburgers, salmon, and grilled chicken. We ate it with some watermelon, pasta, and salad. On my plate I had a little salmon and chicken, lots of watermelon and of course some salad. It was delicious! The best part of the whole thing.. I didn't have to cook! But I did get to help clean up. It was a great weekend!!
..WORKOUTS..

{motivation}

To help motivate me to get back in my pre pregnancy shape.. I turn to my favorite store for some new athletic wear HERE!...
I absolutley LOVE this store, my husband knows what to get me every birthday, christmas, and any other gift giving day of the year. He also knows that everytime I go to this store, we will be at least $200 poorer.. But is it worth the splurge?? SURE IS!! Now, I really am a saver, don't get me wrong, (I married an accountant for heaven sake.) I am always looking for a deal when it comes to food, shoes, clothes etc. I'm a coupon cutting and clearance shopper... But my work out clothes is what I splurge on. Let me tell you why I love lulu.

1.The pants have some extra fabric down there so they dont ride up in your special place

2.The are made with flat seam so you don't get any chaffing

3. The don't show sweat.. so no puddles under your chest or under your armpits.

4. The pants give your bum a lovely shape, lifting it higher and make it look better:)

5. I wash and hang them out to dry, No shrinking, awkward shaping, or color fading! Lulu lasts forever!!

6.The jackets are long, stretchy and form fitting, have holes for thumbs and are dang cute to boot.

7. sweaters are comfy and cozy.

8. tops have built in sport bras with those thin little cups in the so you don't see RT.

9. the crops are reversible! and have a special little pocket for ipod or a key.

10. Pretty much perfect.

When you look good, you feel good, and I feel pretty awesome in my lulu. I know you would to! So go take a splurge. You can shop online lululemon.com or they have a store in PC. I promise you would love whatever you get. When I hit my six week mark my husband took me out and I purchased this little outfit to motivate me to get back in my pre pregnancy shape.

love it.. and..

LOVE it!

Q. What do you splurge on??
my answer is above..
Q. What is your motivation to get back in shape?
besides my children I use cute workout clothes and new shoes to get back in gear.
Leave your answers in a comment, I'd love to hear them! :)

{Dedication}

Being a mother, Takes DEDICATION and sometimes you have to make sacrifices. With that being said, on top of the many sacrifices you give up as a mother.. Being a HARDCORE fan is on my list. My husband and I are HUGE UTE FANS!! We have been to every single game together for the past 3 years and I even went to games with his parents while he was on his mission for the LDS church. There is something about just being here....
That brings out my competive edge and puts a smile on my face. I love college football, especially UTAH football, I have to say goodbye to joining the MUSS and the Crimson club this year because I can't be gone longer then 3-4 hours from my babies without being completley engorged.. Yep, Nursing two babies is my number one duty right now. It makes me SO bummed that I can't spend the quality time yelling at the top of my lungs with my hubby and father in law at the game today. But my babies will be getting the nutrition they deserve and I won't be in crazy pain by the end of that 3rd quarter. I went through several different options..
1. Take the babies to the game.. and feed them in the bathroom.. Yes.. not happening.. trying to nurse two babies in those little stalls would be ridicoulous.. and the game is just to loud for their little ears.
2. Take a pump and try to pump in a stall...umm okay, try to explain that one to the people who go through your bags and everything before entering the game.. "whats that"? "Oh.. this.? No worries its just my breast pump.."
3. Go late and leave early? Not fair for someone that could use the ticket to enjoy the whole game and I would hate having to come and leave all by myself. (I don't think I could talk my husband into leaving either.)
SOOOO.. Being the dedicated mother I intend to be, I will be staying home with my babies. Which is okay, because its just football, it will always be there, its not going anywhere and I'll never get this time back with my babies so I'm going to just enjoy them to the fullest, but deep down inside.. I'll be singing "I am a utah man I am.. I live across the green........
KI YI!!!
LAST NIGHT..
The babies and I went here for the first time with the girls.
SIMPLY Delicious

For our appetizer we shared this.. It was a pita served with ,mozzerella cheese, roasted tomatoes and red peppers and drizzled with balsamic vinigrette. So Delicious.

For Dinner I had the Lemon chicken salad, It was SO good, lettuce with grilled chicken and pomento olives with a light and sweet lemon dressing.
Overall. I give this restaurant a 10 for food and maybe a 5 for service (our server would disappear randomly and took 5 years to get my check)
So my Salt Lake peeps, if you just don't feel like cooking tonight, go try this place! It has several different Healthy options :) so you can't go wrong!

{Confidence}

Confidence. Do you have it?! YES, you do "Confidence portrays so much beauty and strenghth, yet somehow always seems just out of reach to achieve." Why is it so hard to believe that you deserve it or maybe you just fail to see what you have to be confident about.

I believe that we each have something unique that you shouldn't ignore, be proud of the things you can take ownership over. It may be in you ability to dance, sing, cook, or make someone laugh and it even simply showing love and compassion to those that are important to you in everyday life, your street smarts, or your book smarts. It could be absolutley anything.

Do not forget your strengths by focusin on weaknesses, because yes, we all have those to, but the challenge is to not let those weaknesses define who you are. Your STRENGTHS define who you are.

YOU are stronger than you think, you might doubt that, but you have the power to change everything. You have the power to decide first thing in the morning when you wake up,
only you have the power to make your life into something positive and uplifting.

Be confident in everything you can do! You must trust yourself and the changes YOU can make. It may be with family members and friends, personal relationships, and especially yourself.
We all start somewhere. I know I did. I know I couldn't keep just half living my life, things weren't going to change if I didn't think positive and feel confident about my strengths and ability I have. Everyone has something to share with others. You have to DECIDE NOW to be the best person you can be and be confident about it. Through that decision will lead to a healthier and happier you.
