Peeves..& taste test

Hey friends!! how is hump day so far! Mine has been good! I have got a few things checked off on the to-do list! and so it continues, I have learned that moving into a new home.. a actual house.. my chores NEVER end! there is always something to clean, organize, diaper to change, mouth to feed etc! But I'm happy and wouldn't change it for anything ;)
Ill start with yesterday... let me just tell you.. IT was a day.. where I didn't go anywhere.. I was so busy decorating for CHRISTMAS and cleaning that by the time dinner was done, and the babes were sleepy


and the mr. was home I finally got to the gym for my workout. But at least I got it in right?
I'm SO not a night gym goer.. very rarely.. but here it was.

GPP workout

Warmup
50 crunches
75 v-ups
100 situps
(yes, what kind of warmup is that?! its killer.. thats what.)
then, 5 sets of each:
Max rep chinups (strict) (5.. easier said then done..) I got 8, 7, 7, 6, 4
5 OH BB press (strict) AHAP 55lbs 10, 8, 8, 9, 12! I have to admit I used my legs a little that last round ;)
I also needed to run.. TRAINING started today.. Crossing my fingers I get into the moab half tomorrow!? By this time tomorrow I will know for sure! 
Since it was so late I just did about 4 miles  on the dreadmill.. as much as i dislike..it. Its absolutely fridgid outside..no option and called it a night

While I was at the gym last night.. I fell upon one of my BIGGEST 
PET PEEVES!! (& i have few) 


Please PUHLEASE RERACK your own dAnG weights!!

Its the worst thing when your in a middle of a circut and you can't find the weight you need anywhere.. and you not only have to search for the weight but you have to step over all the others that people left out! 
GRRR...  & please notice that all the ones left out are HUGE and are pretty much my body weight..really if you can lift that.. you can put it away when your through..k thanks.

Do you have any pet peeves at the gym? 
Do you really want to hear mine?

1. obviously putting your weight away.
2. chit chatting during class- I can't tell you how "fun" it is to teach a class or even participate when 2 people are just talking instead of doing the work out..
3. not wiping down the treadmill/stepclimber/elliptical when your done.. seriously.. ew.
4. Sweaty hugs.. Don't get me wrong, I love hugs.. but after a class when we are absolutely DRIPPING .. don't hug me.. ;) but I won't turn you down ;)
5. your at the gym to work out.. not meet boys.. (enough said)
6. Old ladies in sports bras.. 
7. teeny boppers in sport bras
8. the guys at the gym that "strut"( if you will) around the gym.
just sayin..

Yesterday I snacked on one of these..

Best Protein bar.. 
EVER..


It taste just like candy.. GOOD delicious Peanut buttery crunchy candy!
go try one. for reals.. I just got it at the grocery store.

Dinner last night


Chicken grilled plain with Mrs Dash
small salad with tomatoes and low fat mozzarella cheese
asparagus roasted in olive oil
L.O.V.E

This morning Breakfast was
the usual...
really it never get old
ever.

1/3 cup oats
AB
a/2 scoop of elite vanilla gourmet protein 
squirt of agave nectar

..Workout..

GPP once again..

4 sets of:
20 OH french press 15/25 then,
For time:
10-11-12-13-14-15 reps of:
thrusters 45/65
burpees
KB swings 25/35
My time was 14:33 RX
RX means I did it as written.. It kicked my bootay!! I have to teach tonight.. Lets hope I make it through.. I'm already feelin it;)
PLEASE NOTE: THIS WORKOUT IS DIFFICULT , IF YOU ARE NEW TO WORKING OUT , SCALE AS NEEDED. ITS YOUR WORKOUT. ITS UP TO YOU. BE SMART ;)

1.5 scoop vanilla protein 
water (im out of almond milk)
1/2 banana
five ice cubes
2 Big handfuls of spinach! (you can't taste it) I pinky swear. 

Don't be afraid to try something new.. You'll never know what you missed out on;)

He did..

Rice cereal.. its new.. its different
He didn' t really love it.
but I tricked him and just mixed it in his bottle and he gobbled it all down ;)

  1. I just stumbled across your blog. You're right where I hope to be in about 5-6 months. I'm due with my 2nd baby in 6 weeks (likely and hopefully sooner though). I love workouts and share many of the same gym peeves too.

  2. I love your blog and I just recently found it! I know that this post was from a few months ago, but I HAD to comment. I have so many of the same irritations at the gym. I see so many horrible outfits, disrespect from people in the class, and down right sweaty nastiness.
    I also wanted to say that you have two BEAUTIFUL children! You are VERY blessed!
