So.. I’m on a fish kick lately. Halibut, Salmon.. today… Tilapia.
A few weeks ago, while I was at target I picked this up as a total impulse buy. (Can anyone ever walk out of Target without at least ONE impulse buy?)
Tonight I decided to whip it out! The ingredient list is what really influenced me to purchase it. Champagne vinegar, grape seed oil, sundried tomatoes, paprika, shallots, and spices! Gotta love some healthy fat!
Charred Tomato garlic Tilapia
Ingredients
- 2 Tilapia Filets (fresh or frozen)
- 2 tsp. minced garlic
- 2 T. Charred Tomato oil
Directions
Heat up skillet
Pour 1 T on skillet and put the tilapia filets in it and pour remaining 1T of oil on top and coat tilapia evenly.
Spread minced garlic on top of fish
Cover with lid! (Use caution: the oil crackles and pops! let cook for about 10-12 minutes remove from heat and let sit for additional 3-5 minutes
Serve with a side of veggies and starch. I chose asparagus cooked with a little olive oil spray and garlic,
delicate fries and brown rice!
Fish is the new chicken around here lately.. well, until tomorrow anyway… I have chicken on the schedule
Workout:
Let me give you a clue to what the WOD included today…
Lovely. This will make me swear every time I wash my hands or shampoo my hair.
You guessed it.. pull-ups! You can see the whole workout here.
I ripped on my second to last round before the clock ran out! Dang it! I hate tearing and I swear I tear almost every time I do pull ups. Oh well, at least I look tough right? You know… with my man hands and all.
Have a good night!
Q. Anyone have a good remedy for tears?
That looks painful. Hope it feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteI did gymnastics for 13 yrs and HATED it when I got rips!!! I still have the callouses on my hands from where I got them years after years!
ReplyDeleteI have never understood how people rip their palms! Only on toes to bar to I KIND of get that wear .... Yikes! But you know, from one calloused girl to another, I love it!
ReplyDeleteTake of the flap of skin (it will only die anyways and this way it'll heal faster), make sure it is dry (no venous fluid), cut a moleskin dough nut the will fit around the open skin (but not on it), and that wrap and give some TLC. Make sure to but TAB-triple antibiotic on it and to let it dry out after a couple of days of giving it some time to not damage the skin more. Once it dries out bandaid it until the new skin toughens.
ReplyDelete@MelissaJoyThanks Melissa!! I'll try that!! superglue didn't work so well..ha!
ReplyDeleteI had the exact same thing happen yesterday and OUCH! It hurts way worse than it looks. Happy healing.
