The actual happy ending I was talking about is that we are going to HAWAII on Saturday!! okay.. the wedding is a big deal to.. we are going to have the honeymooners with us as well :) lucky them.
Its our family vacation with Brent's side, I am SOOO excited! We will be visiting the Island of Kauai. Does anyone have any recommendations for must-do's? Places to eat? etc? So far we have...
- Cliff Jumping (eeek!)
- Rope swing
- Shaved Ice
- Scuba diving
This will be our second trip to Hawaii, I love the islands and the people there. If you have been there before, what did you do? We are going to make the best of this trip! Dinner came together pretty quick tonight- Chicken and Veggie bowl.
In the mix: Green beans, Romain lettuce, Spinach, Cucumber, onion, tomato and 2 strawberries. I love the fresh crisp of veggies in my salad. Drizzled with TJ's Raspberry vinaigrette dressing this salad was perfect for tonight! Off to DECORATE!!!
absolute must is to go to House of Noodles on Kawai. Google it. And get their special. Mmmm. And if you ever see anyone seeing lychee nuts on the side of the road...BUY THEM. Ah enjoy. We'll be there in six months.ReplyDelete
So fun! You must take pictures of the candy bar. I hope the wedding is fantastic!! I've been to Hawaii twice- SO amazing. Both times were when I was younger though so I'm not much help on the to dos. EnjoyReplyDelete
If you go to the North Shore, hit Secrets Beach. It's the prettiest one there. Queen's Bath is a nice hike. There's a Turtle Cave you can hike down to to see sea turtles when the tide is high. Kristen Brinkman Olsen knows about all the good spots. She was a great guide when we went with them! Have fun!ReplyDelete
Our fav restaurant in the Poipu area is the Beach House. It's pricey, but worth it. Make reservations for sunset. Aloha!ReplyDelete
By the way...we just got our second mission call. Back to the Uganda Kampala Mission, but to Rwanda this time!ReplyDelete
